In the garden studio of Angelina DeAntonis you will learn about the clamp resist dyeing technique itajime that Angelina has developed, from the mono-print of the dyed wood blocks to the use of natural dyes and her unique approach to pattern. Her clothing line OCELOT and home interiors have given shape to her hand-dyed fabric for over a quarter a century. Working now as a solo studio artist, she continues to express her vision through clothing and custom interiors, developing a palette of natural dyes and using sustainable practices that support the earth and health.
You will be able to purchase scarves and coasters, and gather insight into her unique dye process.
